How to Use

Dosage

One tablet once a day.

Method

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water or other drink, with or without food. Try to take it at the same time each day.

Important

Do not take more than one tablet per day.

  • Abdominal pain
  • Dry skin
  • Vaginal bleeding
  • Fast or irregular heartbeat (palpitations)
  • Stiff joints (arthritis)
  • Chest pain
RARE
  • Weakness, paralysis, loss of feeling in any body part (especially arms or legs), poor coordination, nausea, trouble speaking or breathing (signs of a stroke)
  • Sudden, crushing chest pain (signs of heart problems)
  • Breathing difficulty, chest pain, fainting, rapid heartbeat, bluish skin, or sudden arm/leg pain (signs of a blood clot)
  • Swelling, redness, severe tenderness, and possibly pain when touched in the area of a vein (phlebitis)
  • High fever, chills, mouth sores caused by infection (low white blood cells)
  • Severe or prolonged blurred vision
  • Swelling, mainly in the face and throat area (signs of an allergic reaction)
  • Yellow skin and eyes, nausea, loss of appetite, dark urine (signs of liver inflammation)
  • Rash, red skin, blisters on lips, eyes, or mouth, peeling skin, fever (signs of a severe skin disease)
  • Rupture of a tendon (tissue that connects muscles to bones)
  • Anxiety, nervousness, or irritability
  • Memory problems
  • Sleepiness or trouble sleeping (insomnia)
  • Changed sense of touch or feeling
  • Eye problems like blurred vision or irritation
  • Hives or skin itching
  • Vaginal discharge or dryness
  • Breast pain
  • Fever
  • Thirst, changes in taste, or dry mouth
  • Dryness of other mucous membranes (like nose or throat)
  • Weight loss
  • Urinary tract infection, frequent urination
  • Cough
  • Increased levels of liver enzymes in blood tests
  • Yellowing of the skin or eyes due to high bilirubin (a substance from red blood cells)
  • Tendon inflammation (tendinitis)

Important Warnings

  • Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to letrozole or any other ingredients.
  • This medicine is only for women who have gone through menopause (no longer have periods).
  • Do not use Letrolan if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, as it can harm the baby.
  • Tell your doctor if you have severe kidney or liver disease.
  • Inform your doctor if you have a history of osteoporosis (weak bones) or bone fractures.

  • If you experience pain or swelling in a tendon (a cord that connects muscle to bone), rest the area and contact your doctor, as Letrolan can cause tendon problems.
  • This medicine is not for children or adolescents under 18 years of age.
  • Do not drive or operate machinery if you feel tired, dizzy, sleepy, or generally unwell.
