Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to telmisartan, hydrochlorothiazide, sulfonamides, or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not take if you are more than 3 months pregnant (it's also best to avoid Lesamor in early pregnancy) as it can harm your baby.
  • Do not take if you have severe liver problems, such as issues with bile flow from the liver or gallbladder.
  • Do not take if you have severe kidney disease.
  • Do not take if your doctor has found that you have low potassium or high calcium levels in your blood that haven't improved with treatment.
Show 6 more warnings
  • Do not take if you have diabetes or kidney problems and are taking a blood pressure-lowering medicine called aliskiren.
  • Tell your doctor immediately if you experience a decrease in vision or eye pain, especially after starting treatment, as this could be a sign of fluid buildup in your eye, which could lead to permanent vision loss if not treated.
  • If you have had skin cancer or notice any new skin changes, tell your doctor. This medicine can increase the risk of certain skin and lip cancers with long-term, high-dose use. Protect your skin from sun and UV rays.
  • Seek urgent medical help if you get severe shortness of breath or difficulty breathing after taking Lesamor, especially if you have had breathing or lung problems after taking hydrochlorothiazide previously.
  • Tell your doctor if you are taking other blood pressure medicines, especially ACE inhibitors (like enalapril, lisinopril, ramipril) or aliskiren, particularly if you have diabetes-related kidney problems.
  • This medicine may cause dizziness or tiredness. Do not drive or operate machinery if you feel dizzy or tired.
