How to Use

Dosage

The usual starting dose is 10 mg once a day.

Method

Take the tablet whole with water, preferably in the morning at least 15 minutes before breakfast.

Important

Your doctor may increase the dose to a maximum of 20 mg per day if needed.

  • Swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, which can cause difficulty breathing or swallowing

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to lercanidipine hydrochloride or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not take if you have certain heart conditions, such as uncontrolled heart failure, narrowing of the heart's blood flow, unstable chest pain (angina), or if you had a heart attack in the last month.
  • Do not take if you have severe liver disease, severe kidney disease, or are on dialysis.
  • Do not take if you are using medicines that affect liver metabolism, such as certain antifungal medicines (ketoconazole, itraconazole), macrolide antibiotics (erythromycin, claritromycin), antiviral medicines (ritonavir), or ciclosporin.
  • Do not consume grapefruit or grapefruit juice while taking this medicine.

  • Do not drink alcohol while taking Lercanidipine Hydrochloride Accord, as it may increase the medicine's effects.
  • If you feel dizzy, weak, or sleepy, do not drive or use machines.
  • This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to have a baby.
