Lenvatinib ratiopharm is a medicine used to treat advanced thyroid cancer, liver cancer, and in combination with another medicine, advanced endometrial cancer, by blocking proteins that help cancer cells grow and form new blood vessels.
Your doctor will tell you how much to take. For thyroid cancer, it's usually 24 mg once a day. For liver cancer, it's 8 mg or 12 mg once a day, based on your weight. For endometrial cancer, it's 20 mg once a day with another medicine.
Swallow the capsules whole with water, with or without food, at about the same time each day. Do not open the capsules. If you have trouble swallowing, your doctor might give you a different lenvatinib medicine.
The maximum daily dose is usually 24 mg, but your doctor may adjust it based on your condition and any side effects.
