How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor will tell you the exact dose to take.

Method

Swallow the capsule whole with water. Do not break, open, or chew it. You can take it with or without food, around the same time each day as directed by your treatment plan.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Low red blood cell count (anemia) causing tiredness and weakness.
  • Rash, itching, dry skin, skin discoloration.
  • Muscle cramps, muscle weakness, muscle pain, bone pain, joint pain, back pain, limb pain.
  • Swelling in the arms and legs.
  • Weakness, tiredness, fever, chills, body aches, headache, cough.
  • Numbness, tingling, or burning sensation in hands/feet, dizziness, tremor.
  • Constipation, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, heartburn.
  • Decreased appetite, changes in taste, weight loss.
  • Shortness of breath, cough, sinus or lung infections.
  • Blurred or weakened vision, cloudy eye (cataract).
  • Depression, mood changes, trouble sleeping.
  • Sore or inflamed mouth, dry mouth.
RARE
  • Bleeding inside the skull.
  • Yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice), pale stools, dark urine, itching, stomach pain (signs of liver failure).
  • Severe stomach pain, swelling, or diarrhea (signs of colon inflammation or rupture), possibly with bloody stools.
  • Sudden or worsening upper stomach/back pain, nausea, vomiting, fever, fast heartbeat (signs of pancreas inflammation).
  • Rejection of a solid organ transplant (e.g., kidney, heart).
  • Deafness, ringing in the ears.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant, think you might be pregnant, or are planning to become pregnant, as it can seriously harm the baby.
  • If you can become pregnant, you must use reliable birth control before, during, and after taking this medicine. Men also need to use condoms if their partner can become pregnant.
  • Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to lenalidomide or any other ingredients.
  • Tell your doctor if you have ever had blood clots or are at a higher risk of getting them.
  • Contact your doctor immediately if you have signs of an infection, such as fever, chills, sore throat, or cough.

  • Tell your doctor if you have kidney problems, as your dose may need to be changed.
  • Stop taking the medicine and get medical help right away if you get a severe allergic skin reaction (widespread rash, swelling, trouble breathing, or peeling skin).
  • Seek immediate medical attention if you experience severe bleeding, chest pain, leg pain, sudden shortness of breath, bone pain, confusion, or extreme tiredness.
