How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor will tell you exactly how much Lenalidomide Orion to take.

Method

Swallow the capsules whole with water. Do not break, open, or chew them. You can take them with or without food. Take them around the same time each day, as instructed by your doctor.

Important

Your doctor will determine the maximum daily dose for you based on your condition and blood test results.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Feeling very tired or weak due to low red blood cells (anemia).
  • Skin rashes and itching.
  • Muscle cramps, muscle weakness, and pain in muscles, bones, or joints.
  • Swelling in your arms and legs.
  • Fever and flu-like symptoms, including muscle aches, headache, earache, cough, and chills.
  • Numbness, tingling, or burning sensation in the skin, pain in hands or feet, dizziness, and trembling.
  • Constipation, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and heartburn.
  • Various types of infections, including sinus, lung, and upper respiratory infections.
  • Leg pain, chest pain, or shortness of breath, which could be signs of a blood clot.
  • Headache.
  • Dry skin and nosebleeds.
RARE
  • Sudden or worsening pain in the upper stomach and/or back, possibly with nausea, vomiting, fever, and fast pulse (signs of pancreas inflammation).
  • Severe skin reactions that start as a rash and spread with skin loss (Stevens-Johnson syndrome) or a widespread rash with fever and organ issues (DRESS).
  • Wheezing, shortness of breath, or dry cough (signs of lung inflammation).
  • Vision changes, speech problems, weakness in limbs, balance issues, numbness, confusion, or memory loss (signs of a serious brain disease called PML).
  • Yellow skin or eyes (jaundice), pale stools, dark urine, itching, rash, or stomach pain (signs of liver damage).
  • Bleeding inside the head or circulation problems.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant, think you might be pregnant, or plan to become pregnant, as it can harm the unborn baby.
  • Stop taking this medicine and tell your doctor right away if you get a severe allergic reaction like hives, rash, swelling of the face or mouth, or trouble breathing.
  • Tell your doctor if you have had blood clots before, as this medicine can increase your risk of getting blood clots in your veins or arteries.
  • Contact your doctor immediately if you have signs of infection like fever, chills, sore throat, or cough, as this medicine can lower your white blood cells.
  • Do not drive or operate machines if you feel dizzy, tired, sleepy, or have blurred vision after taking this medicine.
