How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor will tell you the exact dose you need to take.

Method

Swallow the capsules whole with water. Do not break, open, or chew them. You can take them with or without food, around the same time each day.

Important

Your doctor will determine the maximum daily dose and may adjust it as needed.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Tiredness and weakness (due to low red blood cells), which can cause fatigue and weakness.
  • Rash and itching.
  • Muscle cramps, muscle weakness, or muscle pain.
  • Swelling (in arms or legs).
  • Weakness or fatigue.
  • Fever and flu-like symptoms (like muscle aches, headache, cough, chills).
  • Numbness, tingling, or burning feeling (in hands or feet).
  • Dizziness or trembling.
  • Decreased appetite or changes in taste.
  • Weight loss.
  • Constipation, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, or heartburn.
  • Low potassium, calcium, or sodium levels in the blood.
  • Underactive thyroid.
  • All types of infections (such as sinus, lung, or upper respiratory infections).
  • Shortness of breath.
  • Blurred vision.
  • Kidney problems (kidneys not working well).
  • Abnormal liver enzyme levels.
  • High or low blood sugar.
  • Headache.
  • Nosebleeds.
  • Dry skin.
  • Depression or mood changes.
  • Trouble sleeping.
  • Low blood pressure.
  • General unwell feeling.
  • Sore, inflamed, or dry mouth.
  • Dehydration.
RARE
  • Bleeding in the brain.
  • Circulation problems.
  • Vision loss.
  • Decreased sex drive.
  • High urine output with bone pain and weakness (may be Fanconi syndrome).
  • Yellowing of skin, mucous membranes, or eyes (jaundice), pale stools, dark urine, itching, rash, stomach pain or swollen abdomen (may be liver damage).
  • Stomach pain, swelling, or diarrhea (may be inflammation of the colon or appendix).
  • Kidney cell damage.
  • Skin color changes or sensitivity to sunlight.
  • Tumor lysis syndrome (metabolic complications during cancer treatment).
  • High blood pressure in the lungs.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant, think you might be pregnant, or plan to get pregnant, as it can harm your baby.
  • Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to lenalidomide or any other ingredients.
  • Tell your doctor if you have had blood clots before, as this medicine increases your risk.
  • Tell your doctor if you have signs of infection (like a cough or fever) or if you have had viral infections such as hepatitis B or chickenpox.
  • Tell your doctor if you have kidney or heart problems.

  • Stop taking this medicine and get immediate medical help if you have a severe allergic reaction, such as hives, rash, facial swelling, or trouble breathing.
  • Contact your doctor right away if you experience fever, chills, sore throat, bruising, chest pain, shortness of breath, or bone pain.
