How to Use

Dosage

For Lecrolyn 20 mg/ml: Adults and children over 4 years, 1-2 drops in each eye 4 times daily. For Lecrolyn 40 mg/ml: Adults and children over 4 years, 1-2 drops in each eye 2 times daily. For children under 4 years, use only as directed by a doctor.

Method

Wash hands before use. Choose a comfortable position. Open the bottle and avoid touching the tip. Tilt your head back, pull your lower eyelid down, look up, and squeeze a drop into the eye. Close your eye and gently press the inner corner for about a minute to prevent the drop from draining. Close the bottle tightly. If using other eye medicines, wait at least 5 minutes between applications.

Important

Do not exceed 8 drops per eye per day for Lecrolyn 20 mg/ml, or 4 drops per eye per day for Lecrolyn 40 mg/ml.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use Lecrolyn eye drops if you are allergic to sodium cromoglicate or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Remove soft contact lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them, as the medicine may be absorbed and change their color.
  • If you experience unusual irritation, stinging, or pain in your eyes after use, especially if you have dry eyes or corneal problems, talk to your doctor.
  • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, planning to get pregnant, or think you might be pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
  • Do not use the solution if it is cloudy.
