Lacosamide Stada is an epilepsy medicine used to help reduce seizures (fits) in adults and children.
Typically, you will start with 50 mg two times a day. Your doctor will slowly increase the dose until it works best for you.
Take tablets two times a day, about 12 hours apart. Swallow with a glass of water, with or without food.
The maximum daily dose is usually up to 600 mg when taken alone, or 400 mg when taken with other epilepsy medicines, as prescribed by your doctor.
Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Reduce the dose in severe renal impairment. Common adverse effects include dizziness and nausea. (updated 6.10.2025)
