Lacosamide Medical Valley syrup is a medicine for epilepsy, used to reduce seizures and prevent them from spreading.
The usual starting dose is 50 mg (5 ml) twice a day, but your doctor will adjust it based on your weight and how your treatment progresses. The dose is increased weekly until the right dose is found. Your doctor will tell you your exact dose.
Take the medicine twice a day, about 12 hours apart, preferably at the same time each day. You can take it with or without food. Use the measuring device provided in the package to measure your dose accurately.
The maximum recommended daily dose is 600 mg (60 ml) for adults and adolescents weighing 50 kg or more. For children and adolescents weighing less than 50 kg, the dose is based on their weight and will be determined by your doctor.
