How to Use

Dosage

The doctor will determine the dose based on your child's weight and health. For premature babies, the recommended maximum daily dose is 1 ml per kg of body weight. For full-term newborns, infants, and children weighing less than 20 kg, the recommended maximum daily dose is 0.5 ml per kg of body weight. For children over 20 kg and adolescents, the recommended maximum daily dose is 10 ml.

Method

A healthcare professional will give Kidtrayze as an infusion (drip) directly into the bloodstream, always diluted in another parenteral nutrition solution.

Important

The maximum daily dose depends on the child's weight: 1 ml/kg for premature infants, 0.5 ml/kg for full-term newborns, infants, and children under 20 kg, and 10 ml for children over 20 kg and adolescents.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if your child is allergic to Kidtrayze or any of its ingredients.
  • Do not use if your child has Wilson's disease.
  • Tell your doctor if your child has kidney problems, as this medicine might build up.
  • Tell your doctor if your child has liver problems or reduced bile flow, as this medicine might build up.
  • Tell your doctor if your child has an overactive thyroid gland, as iodine in this medicine could worsen symptoms.
