Kidtrayze provides essential trace elements (zinc, copper, manganese, selenium, and iodine) intravenously for premature and full-term newborns, infants, children, and adolescents who cannot get enough nutrients from food.
The doctor will determine the dose based on your child's weight and health. For premature babies, the recommended maximum daily dose is 1 ml per kg of body weight. For full-term newborns, infants, and children weighing less than 20 kg, the recommended maximum daily dose is 0.5 ml per kg of body weight. For children over 20 kg and adolescents, the recommended maximum daily dose is 10 ml.
A healthcare professional will give Kidtrayze as an infusion (drip) directly into the bloodstream, always diluted in another parenteral nutrition solution.
The maximum daily dose depends on the child's weight: 1 ml/kg for premature infants, 0.5 ml/kg for full-term newborns, infants, and children under 20 kg, and 10 ml for children over 20 kg and adolescents.
