How to Use

Dosage

Use about 5 ml of shampoo, enough to wash your hair and scalp.

Method

Wet your hair and scalp. Gently massage the shampoo into your entire scalp. Leave it on for 3–5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Important

For treatment: twice a week for 2–4 weeks. To prevent symptoms from returning: once a week or every other week. Do not use more often than twice a week.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • Allergic reaction, swelling of the face, lips, mouth, tongue or throat, which can cause difficulty swallowing or breathing.
  • Severe irritation or redness in the area where the shampoo was applied, or other signs of allergy during the first days of treatment.
  • Peeling skin, flaky skin, or blisters.
  • Scalp infection.
  • Increased tear production.
  • Unusual hair loss or thinning.
  • Dry skin, rash, burning sensation on the skin.
  • Changes in hair texture.
  • Changes in taste.
  • Eye irritation.
  • Acne.
  • Hives (urticaria).
  • Hair color changes.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use this shampoo if you are allergic to ketoconazole or any other ingredient.
  • If the shampoo gets into your eyes, rinse them carefully with cold water.
  • If you have used corticosteroids for a long time, gradually reduce their use over 2–3 weeks when starting this shampoo. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
  • Do not swallow the shampoo.
  • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning a pregnancy, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before use.
