How to Use

Dosage

For adults and adolescents over 12 years: 1 tablet 1-3 times a day as needed.

Method

To reduce stomach irritation, it is recommended to take the tablet with or after a meal with enough liquid, such as a glass of water.

Important

The maximum daily dose (3 tablets per day) must not be exceeded.

  • Insomnia, nervousness, agitation, low mood, or difficulty concentrating
  • Tingling or prickling sensations on the skin
  • Conjunctivitis (red eyes), eye pain, retinal bleeding, or vision problems (such as blurred vision)
  • Ringing in the ears (tinnitus) or hearing loss
  • Palpitations, worsening heart failure (increased swelling and shortness of breath), or chest pain
  • Asthma or worsening asthma
  • Stomach ulcer, duodenal ulcer, or colitis (large intestine inflammation)
  • Jaundice (yellow skin and whites of eyes), hepatitis, or pancreatitis (usually severe abdominal pain)
  • Blood in urine

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to ketoprofen or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have had allergic reactions like asthma attacks, runny nose, or hives from ketoprofen, aspirin, or other anti-inflammatory drugs.
  • Do not use if your doctor has told you that you are prone to stomach or intestinal bleeding.
  • Do not use if you have an active stomach or duodenal ulcer, or if you have previously had bleeding, ulcers, or a perforation in your stomach or intestines.
  • Do not use if you have a bleeding disorder or conditions that make you more likely to bleed easily.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category C

Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. For short-term use only. Consider adverse renal effect in chronic kidney disease. Do not use in severe renal impairment. Increases swelling, worsens renal and heart failure and causes cardiovascular events. Increases risk of bleeding, especially in the gastrointestinal tract.
