Ketesse is a pain reliever used for mild to moderate pain, such as muscle pain, period pain, and toothache.
Typically, take half a tablet (12.5 mg) every 4-6 hours, or one tablet (25 mg) every 8 hours.
Take tablets with enough liquid. To reduce stomach and bowel side effects, take with food. For faster relief in acute pain, you can take it on an empty stomach at least 30 minutes before eating.
Do not exceed 3 tablets (75 mg) in 24 hours.
Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. For short-term use only. Consider adverse renal effect in chronic kidney disease. Avoid use in moderately severe renal impairment. Increases swelling, worsens renal and heart failure and causes cardiovascular events. Increases risk of bleeding, especially in the gastrointestinal tract. Consider potential interactions especially with preparations that increase risk of bleeding. (updated 16.9.2024)
