How to Use

Dosage

Usually 1 sachet (25 mg dexketoprofen) every 8 hours.

Method

Take the sachet contents directly or mixed with water. Take with food to reduce stomach problems. For faster relief, take on an empty stomach at least 15 minutes before food.

Important

Do not take more than 3 sachets (75 mg) per day. If you are elderly or have kidney or liver problems, start with a maximum of 2 sachets (50 mg) per day.

  • Constipation or dry mouth
  • Gas or skin rash
  • Tiredness, pain, feverish feeling, or chills
  • Generally feeling unwell
  • Stomach ulcer, bleeding ulcer, or perforated ulcer (may cause bloody vomit or black stools)
  • Fainting or high blood pressure
  • Shallow breathing or fluid retention (e.g., swollen ankles)
  • Throat swelling or loss of appetite
  • Numbness or tingling sensations, itchy rash, acne, or increased sweating
  • Back pain or frequent urination
  • Menstrual problems or prostate issues
  • Abnormal liver test results or liver damage (hepatitis)
  • Acute kidney failure or kidney dysfunction
  • Severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) which may lead to collapse
  • Skin lesions (e.g., Stevens-Johnson syndrome) or swelling of face/lips/throat (angioedema)
  • Breathing difficulties (bronchospasm) or shortness of breath
  • Low blood pressure or pancreas inflammation
  • Blurred vision or ringing in ears (tinnitus)
  • Sensitive skin or photosensitivity
  • Low white blood cells (neutropenia) or low platelets (thrombocytopenia)

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to dexketoprofen, aspirin, or other NSAIDs.
  • Do not take if you have asthma, allergic rhinitis, nasal polyps, hives, swelling, or breathing issues after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs.
  • Do not take if you have stomach or intestinal ulcers, bleeding, or perforation, or a history of these problems.
  • Do not take if you have severe heart failure, moderate to severe kidney problems, or severe liver problems.
  • Do not take if you have a bleeding disorder or blood clotting problems.

  • Do not take if you are severely dehydrated (lost a lot of fluids from vomiting, diarrhea, or not drinking enough).
  • Do not use during the last trimester of pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
  • Be careful if you are elderly, as side effects may be more likely. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience any side effects.
  • This medicine may affect your ability to drive or use machines due to possible dizziness, tiredness, or vision problems. Do not drive or operate machines if you experience these effects.
  • This medicine can hide signs of infection like fever and pain, which might delay proper treatment.
  • The medicine contains sucrose (sugar). If you have diabetes, discuss this with your doctor.
