How to Use

Dosage

For adults and children over 12 years old, the usual dose is one 20 mg tablet once daily for severe allergy symptoms, or one 10 mg tablet once daily for milder symptoms or long-term treatment.

Method

Take the tablet from its blister pack just before use. Place the tablet on your tongue where it will dissolve quickly, then swallow with your saliva. Do not drink water or other liquids.

Important

The maximum daily dose is 20 mg. If you have severe liver problems, do not exceed 10 mg per day.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to ebastine or any other ingredient in this medicine, or if you have severe liver problems.
  • Talk to your doctor if you are taking antifungal medicines (like ketoconazole or itraconazole), antibiotics (like erythromycin), tuberculosis medicines (like rifampicin), antidepressants, or medicines for heart rhythm problems.
  • Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • This medicine contains aspartame, which is a source of phenylalanine, and may be harmful if you have phenylketonuria (PKU).
  • If your symptoms do not improve within 5 days, contact your doctor.
