How to Use
Dosage
The initial daily dose is usually 100 mg per kg of body weight, up to a maximum of 250 mg per kg. For long-term treatment, the dose typically ranges from 10-100 mg per kg per day.
Method
Take the tablets by mouth before meals or feeding. Dissolve the tablets in at least 5-10 ml of water and drink the solution immediately. The solution has a slightly acidic taste.

- Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to carglumic acid or any other ingredients.
- Do not breastfeed your baby while taking this medicine, as carglumic acid may pass into breast milk and be harmful to the baby.
- Treatment should be started and supervised by a doctor experienced in metabolic disorders.
- Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all other medicines you are taking or have recently taken.
- If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, talk to your doctor before using this medicine.
