How to Use
Dosage
Usually 1-2 tablets 2-3 times a day for prevention, or 1-2 tablets twice a day until potassium levels are normal.
Method
Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water. Take the medicine while sitting or standing, not lying down.
Important
Do not take more than 6 tablets per day.

Important Warnings
- Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to potassium chloride or any other ingredient.
- Do not take this medicine if you already have high potassium levels in your blood, severe kidney problems, or any condition that can cause high potassium.
- Do not take this medicine if you have blockages or ulcers in your esophagus or intestines.
- Do not take this medicine if you have Addison's disease and are not being treated for it.
- Talk to your doctor if you have heart or kidney disease, are elderly, or have other conditions that increase your risk of high potassium.

- Be especially careful if your digestion is slow, you are bedridden, or pregnant, as this can increase gut problems.
- Stop taking this medicine if you experience severe nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain.
- This medicine should not be given to children under 18 years of age.
Use in Elderly Patients
Category C
