Kaliumklorid Karo Healthcare is a medicine that provides potassium, an important substance for your body, and is used to treat or prevent low potassium levels.
For prevention, take 1-2 tablets (750 mg) 2-3 times a day, or one 1g tablet twice a day. For low potassium, your doctor will adjust the dose, typically 2 tablets (750 mg) 2-3 times a day until levels normalize, then 1-2 tablets twice a day. For 1g tablets, typically 2 tablets twice a day.
Swallow the tablets whole with at least one full glass of water. Do not lie down right after taking them, and do not take them just before going to bed.
Follow your doctor's instructions for the maximum daily dose. For 750 mg tablets, this is typically up to 6 tablets per day (2 tablets, 3 times a day). For 1 g tablets, it is typically up to 4 tablets per day (2 tablets, 2 times a day).
