Kalcipos-D forte

Kalcipos-D forte contains calcium and vitamin D3, both essential for bone development, and is used to prevent and treat calcium and vitamin D3 deficiencies in older adults, and as an additional treatment for osteoporosis when there is a risk of deficiency.

How to Use

Dosage

The recommended dose is 1 tablet daily.

Method

The tablet can be swallowed whole, divided, or crushed with liquid.

Important

Maximum 1 tablet per day.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to calcium, vitamin D3, or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have too much calcium in your blood or urine.
  • Do not use if you have kidney stones or calcium deposits in your kidneys.
  • Do not use if you have vitamin D poisoning (too much vitamin D in your blood).
  • Do not use if you have severe kidney failure.

  • Talk to your doctor if you have sarcoidosis (a connective tissue disease affecting lungs, skin, and joints).
  • Talk to your doctor if you are taking other vitamin D or calcium supplements.
  • Talk to your doctor if you have reduced kidney function or a tendency to get kidney stones.
  • Talk to your doctor if you are immobile due to osteoporosis.
  • This medicine should not be given to children or adolescents.
  • Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medicines.
  • Stop taking Kalcipos-D forte and contact your doctor immediately if you experience symptoms of a severe allergic reaction: swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, difficulty swallowing, hives, and difficulty breathing.
