How to Use

Dosage

The recommended dose is 1 tablet 1-2 times daily.

Method

The tablet can be swallowed whole, divided, or crushed.

Important

The maximum daily dose is 2 tablets.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Increased calcium levels in blood and/or urine.
RARE
  • Constipation, flatulence, nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea, itching, rash, and hives.
  • Swelling of the face, tongue or lips, difficulty swallowing, hives, or breathing difficulties (symptoms of angioedema).
  • Hypersensitivity reactions, such as swelling of the throat.
  • Milk-alkali syndrome (symptoms include frequent urination, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, unusual tiredness, and weakness).
  • Kidney stones and calcium deposits in the kidneys, and increased blood phosphate levels (in patients with kidney failure).

Important Warnings

  • If you are allergic to calcium, vitamin D3, or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • If you have too much calcium in your blood or urine (hypercalcemia or hypercalciuria).
  • If you have conditions that cause high calcium levels in your blood or urine.
  • If you have too much vitamin D in your blood (vitamin D intoxication).
  • If you have kidney stones or calcium deposits in your kidneys.

  • If you have severe kidney failure.
  • Talk to your doctor if you have sarcoidosis (a connective tissue disease).
  • Do not use other vitamin D or calcium preparations without consulting your doctor.
  • Talk to your doctor if you have kidney failure.
  • Talk to your doctor if you are bedridden or inactive for a long time.
