How to Use

Dosage

One chewable tablet 1-2 times a day.

Method

Chew the tablet or let it slowly dissolve in your mouth.

Important

Do not take more than 2 tablets in a day.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • Increased calcium levels in blood and/or urine.

  • Constipation.
  • Flatulence (gas).
  • Nausea.
  • Stomach pain.
  • Diarrhea.
  • Itching.
  • Rash.
  • Hives (itchy rash).

  • Milk-alkali syndrome (symptoms may include frequent urination, headache, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting, unusual tiredness or weakness).

  • Severe allergic reactions, such as swelling of the face, tongue, or lips, difficulty swallowing, or breathing problems.

  • Hypersensitivity reactions, such as swelling of the throat.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to calcium, vitamin D3, or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have too much calcium in your blood or urine, or a condition that causes high calcium levels.
  • Do not use if you have too much vitamin D in your blood.
  • Do not use if you have kidney stones or calcium deposits in your kidneys.
  • Do not use if you have severe kidney failure.

  • Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine if you have sarcoidosis (a connective tissue disease).
  • Talk to your doctor if you are taking other vitamin D or calcium products at the same time.
  • Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine if you have kidney problems.
  • Talk to your doctor if you will be on prolonged bed rest or sitting for a long time (e.g., in a wheelchair).
