Jext is an auto-injector that delivers adrenaline to quickly treat severe, life-threatening allergic reactions like anaphylaxis.
The dose depends on body weight: adults and children over 30 kg use 300 micrograms; children between 15-30 kg use 150 micrograms.
Inject firmly into the outer thigh muscle (intramuscularly), either through clothing or directly on the skin. Hold the injector in place for 10 seconds after activation. Do not inject into the buttock.
If symptoms do not improve or worsen within 5-15 minutes after the first injection, a second dose may be needed. Always carry more than one Jext auto-injector.
