Isopto Carpine is an eye drop medication that lowers eye pressure and makes the pupil smaller, mainly to treat glaucoma.
Adults and elderly: 2 drops 3 times a day.
Wash hands. Tilt head back, pull down lower eyelid to form a pocket. Drop 1 drop into the pocket. Do not touch your eye with the dropper tip. Close your eye and press the inner corner gently for 2 minutes to prevent the medicine from spreading to other parts of your body.
Do not exceed 6 drops per day unless your doctor has told you otherwise.
Suitable for older adults. Start and continue therapy under supervision by an ophthalmologist. (updated 4.12.2023)
