How to Use

Dosage

Adults and elderly: 2 drops 3 times a day.

Method

Wash hands. Tilt head back, pull down lower eyelid to form a pocket. Drop 1 drop into the pocket. Do not touch your eye with the dropper tip. Close your eye and press the inner corner gently for 2 minutes to prevent the medicine from spreading to other parts of your body.

Important

Do not exceed 6 drops per day unless your doctor has told you otherwise.

COMMON
  • Blurred vision

RARE
  • Retinal detachment or tear
  • Bleeding inside the eye
  • Allergic reaction (hypersensitivity)
  • Vomiting

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to pilocarpine or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have inflammation in the iris (colored part of the eye) or uvea (middle layer of the eye).
  • Tell your doctor if you have a history of retinal detachment.
  • Be careful when driving or operating machinery in dim light, as this medicine can cause blurry vision and make you sensitive to light. Do not drive or use machines until your vision returns to normal.
  • Remove contact lenses before using these drops and wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back in.
