How to Use
Dosage
Your doctor will determine the right dose for you, starting with 0.01 micrograms/kg/minute and slowly increasing while monitoring your heart rate to achieve a pulse of 50-60 beats per minute.
Method
A specialist doctor will give you this medicine as an intravenous infusion, diluted with saline or glucose solution.
Important
The maximum dose is 0.15 micrograms/kg/minute.

Important Warnings
- Do not use if you are allergic to isoprenaline or any other ingredient in this medicine.
- Do not use if you are also receiving adrenaline.
- Avoid if you have a very fast heart rate, a stressed heart, or have recently had a heart attack or chest pain.
- Tell your doctor if you have heart problems, diabetes, or an overactive thyroid.
- This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy unless absolutely necessary, and it is not recommended for breastfeeding.
