Innovair nexthaler is an inhaled powder containing two active substances that help relieve and prevent asthma and COPD symptoms like shortness of breath, wheezing, and coughing by reducing inflammation and opening airways.

How to Use

Dosage

For asthma, usually 1 or 2 puffs twice a day, or 1 puff in the morning and 1 in the evening. For COPD, usually 2 puffs in the morning and 2 in the evening.

Method

Inhale the powder through your mouth into your lungs. Stand or sit upright if possible. Always follow your doctor's instructions.

Important

Do not take more than 8 inhalations in a 24-hour period.

  • Tremor (shaking)
  • Pneumonia (lung infection) in COPD patients
RARE
  • Common cold-like symptoms
  • Sore throat
  • Fungal infections (in mouth and throat)
  • Worsening asthma symptoms, difficulty breathing
  • Hoarseness
  • Cough
  • Unusually fast heart rate
  • Unusually slow heart rate
  • Chest tightness
  • Headache
  • Nausea
  • Tiredness or nervousness
  • Changes in ECG (heart electrical activity)
  • Low cortisol levels in urine or blood
  • High potassium levels in blood
  • High blood sugar levels
  • High blood fat levels
  • Blurred vision
  • Palpitations (feeling your heart race or pound)
  • Irregular heart rhythm
  • Taste disturbance
  • Muscle pain and cramps
  • Restlessness, dizziness
  • Anxiety
  • Sleep problems
  • Reduced blood potassium levels
  • Increased or decreased blood pressure
  • Adrenal gland problems
  • Decreased bone density
  • Slowed growth in children and adolescents
  • Increased eye pressure (glaucoma) or cataracts
  • Rapid weight gain, especially in the face and torso
  • Mood changes (like depression, anxiety, agitation) or unusual behavior

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine.
  • If you experience worsened breathing, coughing, or wheezing right after using this inhaler, stop using it immediately and contact your doctor.
  • Seek medical help right away if you have signs of a severe allergic reaction, such as rash, itching, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat.
  • Tell your doctor if you have heart problems, irregular heartbeat, or high blood pressure.
  • If you have diabetes, your blood sugar levels might increase. Your doctor may check your blood sugar more often.

  • Inform your doctor if you have a thyroid problem, low potassium, liver or kidney disease, adrenal gland tumor, or any type of lung infection (like TB, viral or fungal).
  • If you are scheduled for surgery requiring anesthesia, tell your doctor, as you might need to stop taking this medicine at least 12 hours beforehand.
