How to Use

Dosage

The recommended dose is 2 puffs twice a day.

Method

Breathe the medicine in through your mouth so it goes straight to your lungs. Exhale fully, seal your lips around the mouthpiece, press the canister while breathing in slowly and deeply, then hold your breath. Rinse your mouth with water after each use to prevent infections.

Important

Do not take more than 4 puffs in one day.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Fungal infections in the mouth and throat
  • Headache
  • Hoarseness

RARE
  • Fast or irregular heartbeat, palpitations
  • Changes in heart's electrical activity (ECG)
  • High blood pressure
  • Flu-like symptoms, sinus infection, runny nose, ear infection
  • Throat irritation, cough with phlegm, asthma attack
  • Vaginal yeast infections
  • Nausea, changes in taste, burning lips, dry mouth, difficulty swallowing
  • Indigestion, stomach discomfort, diarrhea
  • Muscle pain or cramps
  • Redness in face and throat, increased sweating
  • Tremor, restlessness, dizziness, hives (nettle rash)
  • Changes in blood tests (e.g., low potassium, high blood sugar, low white blood cells, high platelets)
  • Tightness in chest, skipped heartbeats (due to early contractions)
  • Low blood pressure, kidney inflammation, swelling of skin and mucous membranes lasting several days
  • Shortness of breath, worsening asthma, decreased platelets, swelling of hands and feet
  • Sleep problems, depression or anxiety, feeling agitated or easily irritated, blurred vision

Important Warnings

  • Do not use Innovair if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
  • Always carry your fast-acting asthma relief inhaler for sudden asthma attacks.
  • Innovair should not be used by children and teenagers under 18 years old.
  • Do not increase your dose without talking to your doctor first.
  • If your asthma symptoms worsen, contact your doctor immediately.

  • Rinse your mouth or gargle with water and brush your teeth after each use to prevent fungal infections in your mouth and throat.
  • Get a new inhaler when the dose counter shows 20, and stop using it when it shows 0, as remaining doses might not be full.
  • If you notice medicine spray coming out from the top or sides of the inhaler, it means it's not reaching your lungs properly. Take another dose following the instructions.
  • If you experience allergic reactions like skin rash, itching, or swelling of the face, lips, or throat, contact your doctor immediately.
  • Do not use this medicine after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
  • Do not expose the inhaler to temperatures above 50°C and do not puncture it.
  • If you have heart problems, high blood pressure, diabetes, or liver or kidney disease, tell your doctor before using Innovair.
