Indivina is a hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for women whose periods have stopped at least three years ago, used to relieve menopause symptoms like hot flashes and prevent bone weakening.

How to Use

Dosage

One tablet daily.

Method

Swallow one tablet whole with liquid, preferably around the same time each day.

Important

Always use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time, as advised by your doctor.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Weight gain or loss, swelling due to fluid retention
  • Depression, nervousness, lack of energy
  • Headache, dizziness
  • Hot flashes, increased sweating
  • Nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, gas
  • Breast pain/tenderness, vaginal discharge, irregular vaginal bleeding or spotting, vulvovaginal disorders, menstrual disorders
RARE
  • Benign breast tumor, benign uterine lining growth
  • Allergic reaction
  • Increased appetite, high blood cholesterol levels
  • Anxiety, insomnia, apathy, mood swings, difficulty concentrating, changes in mood or sex drive, intense feeling of happiness (euphoria), agitation
  • Migraine, sensory disturbances, tremor
  • Vision problems, dry eyes
  • Palpitations (feeling your heart beat)
  • Increased blood pressure, superficial vein inflammation, purple bruise-like spots
  • Shortness of breath, runny nose or stuffy nose
  • Constipation, upper abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, rectal disorder
  • Acne, hair loss, dry skin, nail disorders, skin lumps, excessive body hair (hirsutism), erythema nodosum, hives
  • Joint disorders, muscle cramps
  • Frequent urination or increased urge to urinate, urinary incontinence, bladder infection, changes in urine color, blood in urine
  • Breast enlargement, breast tenderness, uterine lining overgrowth, uterine disorder
  • Fatigue, abnormal lab test results, weakness, fever, flu-like symptoms, general feeling of illness
  • Poor contact lens tolerance
  • Changes in liver function and bile flow
  • Rash
  • Blood clots (usually in a leg or lungs), causing pain, swelling, or redness
  • Menstrual cramps, PMS-like syndrome

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you have or have had breast cancer, or if breast cancer is suspected.
  • Do not take if you have unexplained vaginal bleeding.
  • Stop immediately and see a doctor if you have signs of a blood clot, such as painful swelling or redness in a leg, sudden chest pain, or trouble breathing.
  • Stop immediately and see a doctor if you become pregnant.
  • Stop immediately and see a doctor if your skin or eyes turn yellow (jaundice), as this could be a sign of liver disease.
