How to Use

Dosage

The usual dose is one tablet.

Method

Take the tablet just before going to bed, or when natural sleep doesn't come. Imovane should only be taken orally.

Important

Take one dose only per night; do not take another dose during the same night.

  • Swelling of face, lips, throat, or tongue
  • Changes in liver blood tests
  • Angry feelings
  • Unusual actions during sleep (like driving, eating, talking on the phone, or having sex) when not fully awake
  • Becoming dependent on the medicine
  • Withdrawal symptoms if you stop taking it
  • Feeling clumsy or uncoordinated

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to zopiclone or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use if you have severe liver disease.
  • Do not use if you have severe muscle weakness (myasthenia gravis).
  • Do not use if you have severe sleep apnea or respiratory failure diagnosed by a doctor.
  • This medicine is for short-term use only. Do not use for long periods, as the risk of dependence increases with longer treatment.

  • Do not use if you have experienced sleepwalking or other unusual behaviors (like driving, eating, making calls, or having sex) while not fully awake after taking Imovane.
  • Avoid alcohol during Imovane treatment, as it can cause excessively deep sleep and breathing problems during sleep.
  • Do not drive or operate machinery for at least 12 hours after taking this medicine, as your reaction time may be impaired, especially if you haven't had enough sleep.
  • Using Imovane with opioids can cause severe breathing problems, coma, and even death. Do not use together unless your doctor specifically instructs you to.
  • Do not use Imovane during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you are pregnant, think you might be, or are planning a baby, consult your doctor. If you are breastfeeding, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
