Icatibant Avansor treats symptoms of hereditary angioedema (HAE) by blocking a substance that causes swelling and other symptoms.
For adults, the usual dose is one injection (30 mg). For children and adolescents (2-17 years), the dose is 1-3 ml, based on body weight.
Inject under the skin (subcutaneously), typically into the fatty tissue in the stomach area.
Do not take more than three injections within 24 hours. If you need more than 8 injections per month, consult your doctor.
