Ibuver is a medicine that helps relieve pain and reduce fever, belonging to a group of medicines called NSAIDs.

How to Use

Dosage

For children 20-29 kg (6-9 years): 200 mg per dose, up to 600 mg daily. For children 30-39 kg (10-11 years): 200 mg per dose, up to 800 mg daily. For adults and adolescents ≥ 40 kg (12 years and older): 200-400 mg per dose, up to 1200 mg daily.

Method

Take film-coated tablets whole with plenty of fluid (preferably a glass of water) with or after a meal. For sensitive stomachs, it's recommended to take Ibuver with a meal.

Important

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose of 1200 mg for adults and adolescents 12 years and older, or 600-800 mg for children depending on weight. Ensure at least 6 hours between doses.

  • Minor stomach bleeding, which can rarely lead to anemia

  • Headache
  • Dizziness
  • Sleeplessness

  • Irritability
  • Fatigue and other central nervous system disorders
  • Visual disturbances
  • Stomach ulcers, sometimes with bleeding and perforation
  • Mouth inflammation with sores (ulcerative stomatitis)
  • Worsening of colitis or Crohn's disease
  • Stomach lining inflammation (gastritis)
  • Allergic reactions with rash, itching, and asthma attacks (possibly with low blood pressure)
  • Different types of rash
  • Ringing in the ears (tinnitus)
  • Kidney tissue damage (papillary necrosis)
  • High uric acid levels in the blood
  • Palpitations
  • Heart failure
  • Heart attack
  • Blood disorders (anemia, low white blood cell count, low platelet count, low red blood cell count, complete lack of white blood cells), with first symptoms like fever, sore throat, mouth sores, flu-like symptoms, severe fatigue, nosebleeds, and skin bleeding.
  • Inflammation of the esophagus and pancreas
  • Formation of diaphragm-like strictures in the small and large intestine
  • High blood pressure
  • Severe allergic reactions (anaphylactic shock) like swelling of the face, tongue, or throat, difficulty breathing, shortness of breath, palpitations, low blood pressure, and even severe circulatory shock.
  • Liver dysfunction, liver damage (especially with long-term treatment), liver failure, acute hepatitis.
  • Psychotic reactions
  • Depression
  • Increased fluid retention (edema), especially with high blood pressure or kidney problems; excessive protein in urine (nephrotic syndrome); inflammatory kidney disease (interstitial nephritis), possibly leading to acute kidney dysfunction. Reduced urine output, fluid retention, and general malaise can indicate kidney disease or kidney failure.
  • Hair loss (alopecia)
  • Reddish, non-raised, target-like or circular patches on the body, often with a blister in the center; skin peeling; sores in the mouth, throat, nose, eyes and genitals. These severe rashes (exfoliative dermatitis, erythema multiforme, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis) may be preceded by fever and flu-like symptoms.
  • Widespread rash, fever, and swollen lymph nodes (DRESS syndrome)
  • Red, widespread scaling rash with lumps under the skin and blisters, and fever (acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis).
  • Skin sensitivity to light
  • Chest pain, which can be a sign of a potentially serious allergic reaction called Kounis syndrome.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take Ibuver if you are allergic to ibuprofen or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not take if you have ever had breathing problems, asthma attacks, nasal swelling, or skin rashes after taking aspirin or other similar pain relievers (NSAIDs).
  • Do not take if you have active or repeated stomach or gut ulcers, or bleeding.
  • Do not take if you have severe liver, kidney, or heart failure.
  • Do not take if your body is severely dehydrated (e.g., from severe vomiting or diarrhea).

  • Do not take if you are in the last three months of pregnancy.
  • Ibuver tablets are not for children under 6 years old or weighing less than 20 kg.
  • Stop taking Ibuver right away if you get stomach bleeding or ulcers during treatment.
  • If you use Ibuver for fever for more than 3 days, or for pain for more than 4 days, or if your symptoms get worse, talk to your doctor.
  • Do not drink alcohol while taking Ibuver.
  • Stop taking Ibuver and call a doctor right away if you get severe skin reactions like widespread rash, skin peeling, or blisters.
  • Avoid using Ibuver if you have chickenpox.
