How to Use

Dosage

For cream, apply 1 to 3 times a day; once a day when symptoms improve. For solution, apply 1 to 3 ml to the scalp twice a day.

Method

Apply a thin layer to the affected skin area or massage into the scalp.

Important

Do not use continuously for more than two weeks on thin skin areas or for diaper rash. For other long-term or extensive use, consult your doctor.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • Skin thinning and fragility, especially with long-term use on sensitive areas (e.g., around eyes, face, armpits, skin folds).
  • Stretch marks, widened surface blood vessels, and bruising.
  • Weakening of adrenal gland function.
  • Increased hair growth, rash around the mouth (perioral dermatitis), and loss of skin color.
  • Cataract, glaucoma (increased eye pressure).
  • Hypersensitivity reactions, allergic contact dermatitis (skin inflammation from contact).
  • Blurred vision.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to hydrocortisone or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not use on open wounds, leg ulcers, bedsores, or certain skin infections caused by bacteria, viruses, or fungi (e.g., impetigo, rosacea, chickenpox, warts, fungal skin diseases, skin tuberculosis).
  • Stop use and contact a doctor if the treated skin area becomes thinner or irritated, or if your rash worsens or doesn't improve after two weeks.
  • Be careful when applying to sensitive areas like genitals or around the eyes. Do not get the medicine into your eyes. Contact a doctor if you experience blurred vision or other eye problems.
  • Prolonged or extensive use, especially in children, can lead to side effects like skin thinning or affect adrenal gland function.
