Important Warnings
Do not use if you are allergic to heparin or any other ingredient in this medicine.
Do not use if you have ever had a serious low platelet count (Type II HIT) caused by heparin.
Do not use if you have active severe bleeding or a high risk of bleeding.
Do not use if you have a serious heart infection (septic endocarditis) from a general infection.
Do not use if you are going to have local or regional anesthesia for surgery, or if you have a catheter near your spinal cord (epidural catheter).

This medicine contains benzyl alcohol and should not be given to premature babies or newborns (under 4 weeks old) without a doctor's advice, or for more than one week to children under 3 years old, as it can cause serious problems.
