How to Use

Dosage

For adults and adolescents over 12, the usual dose is 10 mg (1 tablet) once a day. For children aged 6-12, the usual dose is 5 mg (half a tablet) twice a day.

Method

Suck the tablet in your mouth until it dissolves; you can take it with or without water, and the tablet can be divided.

Important

Do not take more than 10 mg (1 tablet) in a single day.

  • Tics (involuntary movements)
  • Fainting, involuntary movements, muscle stiffness, tremors, taste changes
  • Blurred vision, eye focus problems, uncontrolled eye movements
  • Drug rash
  • Abnormal urination (bedwetting, painful urination, difficulty urinating, inability to empty bladder fully)
  • Increased appetite
  • Suicidal thoughts, nightmares
  • Memory loss, impaired memory
  • Vertigo (feeling of spinning)
  • Severe itching and/or hives when stopping the medicine
  • Joint pain
  • Pustular rash

Important Warnings

  • Do not take Heinix if you are allergic to cetirizine, hydroxyzine, or any related substances, or if you have severe kidney disease.
  • Talk to your doctor if you have kidney problems (your dose may need adjusting), difficulty urinating, epilepsy, or a risk of seizures.
  • Avoid using Heinix during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless specifically advised by your doctor.
  • Be careful when driving or operating machinery, as this medicine may affect your alertness. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
  • Do not give this medicine to children under 6 years old.
