How to Use
Dosage
One 0.5 mg capsule once daily.
Method
Take one capsule whole with water. You can take it with or without food. Do not open the capsule.
Important
Do not take more than one 0.5 mg capsule per day.
Possible Side Effects
COMMON
- •Flu-like symptoms (tiredness, chills, sore throat, muscle aches, fever).
- •Headache or migraine.
- •Diarrhea.
- •Back pain.
- •Cough.
- •Dizziness.
- •Low white blood cell count.
- •Weakness.
- •Itching or skin rash.
- •Hair loss.
- •Shortness of breath.
- •Depression.
- •Blurred vision.
- •High blood pressure.
- •Muscle or joint pain.
RARE
- •Severe headache, confusion, seizures, or changes in vision (a condition called PRES).
- •Lymphoma (a type of cancer that affects the immune system).
- •Squamous cell carcinoma (a type of skin cancer).
Important Warnings
- Do not take if your immune system is weak.
- Do not take if you have a severe active infection or active cancer.
- Do not take if you have had a heart attack, stroke, or severe heart problems in the last 6 months.
- Do not take if you are pregnant or could become pregnant and are not using effective birth control.
- This medicine can slow down your heart rate, especially when you first start taking it. Tell your doctor if you feel dizzy or tired.

- This medicine may increase your risk of skin cancer.
- It can cause swelling in the back of your eye (macular edema), which may lead to blurred vision.
- This medicine can affect your liver. Your doctor will check your liver function regularly.
