Important Warnings

  • Do not use Gammagard S/D if you are allergic to human normal immunoglobulin (antibodies), especially if you have IgA antibodies in your blood, or to any other ingredient in the medicine.
  • Tell your doctor or nurse immediately if you experience sudden wheezing, difficulty breathing, chest tightness, headache, fever, swelling of your face or lips, hives, itching, or itching all over your body.
  • If you have received live virus vaccines in the last 6 weeks to 3 months, Gammagard S/D may make them less effective. You may need to wait up to 1 year after a measles vaccine. Ask your doctor.
  • Tell the person taking your blood sample or your doctor that you have received Gammagard S/D, as it can affect the results of some blood tests.
  • This medicine contains glucose, which is important to consider if you have diabetes.
