How to Use

Dosage

One injection of 0.25 mg once a day.

Method

Inject it slowly under your skin, preferably in the thigh. Change the injection site each time.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Local skin reactions at the injection site (redness, swelling).
RARE
  • Headache.
  • Nausea.
  • General feeling of being unwell.
  • Allergic reactions.
  • Rash.
  • Facial swelling.
  • Difficulty breathing.
  • Swelling of the face, lips, tongue, and/or throat (angioedema and/or anaphylaxis), which can cause breathing or swallowing difficulties.
  • Hives (urticaria).
  • Abdominal pain.
  • Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS).
  • Ectopic pregnancy.
  • Miscarriage.
  • Worsening of eczema.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to ganirelix, other ingredients in this medicine, or to GnRH hormones.
  • If you have an allergic condition, tell your doctor. If you experience a severe allergic reaction (like swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, hives, or trouble breathing/swallowing), stop using Fyremadel and seek immediate medical help.
  • The needle shield contains latex, which may cause allergic reactions if you are allergic to latex.
  • Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS) can develop during or after fertility treatment. Talk to your doctor if you have symptoms.
  • There is a slightly increased risk of ectopic pregnancy if your fallopian tubes are damaged.

  • The effectiveness and safety of this medicine have not been studied in women weighing less than 50 kg or more than 90 kg.
  • Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
