  • The medicine used for final egg maturation (containing hCG) can increase OHSS risk. Avoid hCG if OHSS is developing and do not have intercourse for at least 4 days, even with contraception.

  • The risk of ectopic pregnancy is slightly higher in women with damaged fallopian tubes.

  • Fostimon Set treatment, like pregnancy, can increase the risk of blood clots (thrombosis), usually in legs or lungs. Talk to your doctor before treatment if you know you're prone to blood clots, if you or a close family member has had blood clots, or if you are very overweight.
  • This medicine is made from human urine. While the risk of transmitting infections isn't fully excluded, manufacturing processes reduce this risk by removing viruses (e.g., HIV, herpes, papillomaviruses). No cases of viral transmission have been reported.
