How to Use

Dosage

One tablet daily.

Method

Swallow the tablet whole with water, with or without food.

Important

Do not exceed one tablet per day.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON

  • Severe allergic reactions (like trouble breathing, itching, swelling)
  • Skin rash
  • Stomach ache
  • Fast or irregular heartbeat
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Drowsiness
  • Diarrhea
  • Hallucinations (seeing or hearing things that aren't real)
  • Difficulty sleeping
  • Dizziness
  • Liver problems
  • Seizures
  • Muscle pain
  • Restlessness and increased movement
  • Unusual weakness
  • Yellowing of skin and/or eyes
  • Increased sensitivity to sun
  • Changes in heartbeat
  • Abnormal behavior
  • Aggression
  • Weight gain
  • Increased appetite
  • Depressed mood
  • Dry eyes
  • Slow heart rate (in children)

Important Warnings

  • Do not use Flynise if you are allergic to desloratadine, loratadine, or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Talk to your doctor if you have reduced kidney function.
  • Talk to your doctor if you or a family member has a history of seizures.
  • This medicine should not be given to children under 12 years of age.
  • Flynise is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

  • Be careful with alcohol consumption while taking this medicine.
  • Contact your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after 5 days of treatment or if they worsen.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category C

Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Reduce the dose in severe renal impairment. Concurrent use with clopidogrel can increase loratadine and desloratadine level. (updated 19.9.2025)
