How to Use

Dosage

One spray in each nostril in the morning and one spray in each nostril in the evening.

Method

Shake the bottle, blow your nose, and tilt your head slightly forward. Hold the bottle upright, insert the tip into one nostril. Close the other nostril with a finger, press the pump down quickly and gently breathe in through your nose. Repeat for the other nostril. Do not tilt your head back after spraying.

Important

Do not use more than one spray in each nostril twice a day, totaling two sprays in the morning and two sprays in the evening.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Nosebleeds
  • Headache
  • Bitter taste or unpleasant smell in the mouth (especially if you tilt your head back while spraying; it usually goes away after a few minutes if you drink something).
RARE
  • Mild irritation inside the nose (e.g., tingling, itching, sneezing), dry nose, cough, dry throat, throat irritation, dry mouth, nose ulcers
  • Dizziness, drowsiness, tiredness, fatigue, weakness, nausea
  • Cataracts, glaucoma, increased pressure in the eyes, blurred vision (these can cause vision loss or red and painful eyes).
  • Damage to skin and mucous membranes in the nose, rash, itchy skin, red, itchy bumps
  • Bronchospasm (tightening of the airways in the lungs).

Important Warnings

  • Seek immediate medical help if you experience swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, which can cause difficulty swallowing or breathing, or a sudden rash. These could be signs of a severe allergic reaction.
  • Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to azelastine, fluticasone propionate, or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Talk to your doctor if you have recently had nose surgery or have a nose infection.
  • Tell your doctor if you have tuberculosis or an untreated infection.
  • If you have changes in your vision, glaucoma, cataracts, or blurred vision, talk to your doctor.

  • Consult your doctor if your adrenal gland function is weak.
  • Tell your doctor if you have severe liver disease.
  • This medicine is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
  • Avoid getting the medicine in your eyes.
  • It is important not to exceed the recommended dose, as high doses over a long time can affect hormone production and growth in children.
