How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. The dose may vary based on your condition. This medicine is not given to anyone under 18 years old.

Method

The medicine is usually given as an injection into a vein in your arm. It should not be injected into your spinal cord or arteries.

Important

Your doctor will decide the appropriate dose for you. There is no specific maximum daily dose, as it is determined on a case-by-case basis.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to fluorescein or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Tell your doctor if you have heart or kidney problems, diabetes, or any similar conditions.
  • Inform your doctor if you are taking beta-blockers for high blood pressure or heart conditions.
  • Let your doctor know if you have previously had an allergic reaction to fluorescein.
  • This medicine contains sodium, so tell your doctor if you are on a low-sodium diet.

  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, discuss with your doctor. Do not breastfeed for 7 days after receiving this medicine.
  • Do not drive or operate machinery until your vision has returned to normal after the eye exam.
