How to Use
Dosage
Adults and children from 6 months of age receive one 0.5 ml dose. Children under 9 years old who have not been vaccinated against the flu before need a second dose at least 4 weeks after the first.
Method
The doctor will give the vaccine as an injection into a muscle, usually in your arm.
Important
One dose at a time as prescribed by your doctor.

- •Serious allergic reactions, including shock or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat
- •Serious nerve problems like a stiff neck, confusion, numbness, weak arms or legs, balance issues, or paralysis
- •Temporary swelling of lymph nodes in the neck, armpit, or groin
- •Flu-like symptoms or a general feeling of being unwell
Important Warnings
- Do not use this vaccine if you are allergic to any of its ingredients (like egg, formaldehyde, gentamicin) or if you have a high fever or an acute infection.
- Tell your doctor if you have a weak immune system, a bleeding disorder, or if you will have a blood test soon after vaccination.
- Also, tell them if you have fainted after an injection before. The vaccine may not provide full protection for everyone.
