  • Blood clots (signs can include sudden chest pain, trouble breathing, coughing up blood, sudden weakness on one side of your body, changes in how you feel or balance, trouble speaking, or swelling, warmth, pain, and redness in a leg).
  • Dizziness
  • Ringing in the ears
  • Breathing problems (like asthma)
  • Skin issues (like rash, red skin, irritated skin, night sweats, feeling hot).

Important Warnings

  • Do not use Fibclot if you are allergic to human fibrinogen or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • This medicine can increase the risk of blood clots, especially with large or repeated doses. Your doctor will monitor this risk.
  • If you experience signs of a severe allergic reaction (like hives, sudden drop in blood pressure, feeling dizzy, throwing up, cough, chills, swelling of face or throat, trouble breathing, or feeling very tired), stop treatment immediately and contact your doctor.
  • Because this medicine is made from human blood, there is a very small risk of transmitting infections, even though precautions are taken.
  • Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only if your doctor advises it.

  • This medicine contains sodium, which should be considered if you are on a low-salt diet.
  • Do not mix this medicine with other medicines; it should be given through a separate tube.
