How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor will tell you exactly how much Ferulinor to take.

Method

Swallow the capsules whole with water. Do not break, open, or chew them. Take the medicine around the same time each day, with or without food.

Important

Your doctor will decide your maximum daily dose based on your condition.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Tiredness and weakness (due to low red blood cells/anemia).
  • Rash and itching.
  • Muscle cramps, muscle weakness, or muscle pain.
  • Swelling in the arms or legs.
  • Fever and flu-like symptoms (like headache, cough, chills).
  • Numbness, tingling, or pain in hands or feet; dizziness.
  • Constipation, diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting.
  • Loss of appetite or weight loss.
  • Bone or joint pain.
  • Infections (e.g., colds, sinus infections).
  • Blurred vision.
  • Dry skin.
  • Mood changes or trouble sleeping.
  • Shortness of breath.
  • Headache.
  • Nosebleeds.
RARE
  • Bleeding inside the head.
  • Yellow skin or eyes (jaundice), pale stools, dark urine, or stomach pain (signs of liver damage).
  • Severe stomach or back pain with nausea, vomiting, fever, and fast heart rate (signs of pancreas inflammation).
  • Wheezing, shortness of breath, or dry cough (signs of lung inflammation).
  • Serious problems from dying cancer cells (Tumor Lysis Syndrome), affecting kidneys or heart.
  • Muscle breakdown leading to kidney problems.
  • Stomach or bowel wall rupture, causing severe infection.
  • Reactivated viral infections (like shingles or Hepatitis B).
  • Rejection of transplanted organs (e.g., kidney, heart).
  • Difficulty speaking or with balance.
  • Deafness or ringing in the ears.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take Ferulinor if you are pregnant, think you might be pregnant, or plan to become pregnant, as it can harm an unborn baby.
  • Do not take Ferulinor if you are allergic to lenalidomide or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Tell your doctor if you have ever had blood clots or are at higher risk of getting them, as Ferulinor can increase this risk.
  • Contact your doctor if you have signs of infection like cough or fever.
  • Seek immediate medical help if you develop a widespread rash, high fever, flu-like symptoms, or swollen lymph nodes, as these could be signs of a severe skin reaction.

  • Tell your doctor right away if you notice changes in vision, speech, walking, balance, numbness, memory, or confusion, as these could be signs of a serious brain condition called PML.
  • Contact your doctor if you experience shortness of breath, tiredness, dizziness, chest pain, fast heartbeat, or swelling in your legs or ankles, which could indicate a serious lung condition.
  • Pregnant women or those who might be pregnant should not handle this medicine.
  • Do not drive or operate machinery if you feel dizzy, tired, sleepy, or have blurred vision after taking Ferulinor.
