How to Use

Dosage

One salmon-colored tablet every day for 28 days.

Method

Swallow the tablet with water. You can take it with or without food. Try to take it at the same time each day.

Important

Do not take more than one tablet per day.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Headache
  • Abdominal pain
  • Back pain
  • Breast tenderness or pain
  • Vaginal yeast infection
  • Feeling low or nervous
  • Dizziness
  • Nausea, vomiting, bloating, or gas
  • Skin reactions like rash, severe itching, or hives
  • Irregular periods or spotting
  • Weight gain
RARE
  • Symptoms resembling bladder infection
  • Enlargement of uterine fibroids
  • Blood clots in legs or lungs
  • High blood pressure
  • Liver problems, possibly with yellowing of skin/eyes (jaundice)
  • Gallbladder disease
  • Weight loss
  • Heart attack
  • Stroke
  • Swelling of the face and neck (angioedema)
  • Purple spots on the skin

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you have or have had breast cancer or other cancer that reacts to estrogen.
  • Do not use if you have had a blood clot, heart attack, or stroke, or if you have blood clotting problems.
  • Do not use if you have a liver disease and your liver is not working normally.
  • Do not use if you have unexplained vaginal bleeding.
  • Stop taking the medicine and contact a doctor immediately if you have an allergic reaction (e.g., facial swelling, breathing difficulties, severe rash).

  • If you become pregnant, stop using Femoston conti and contact your doctor.
  • Contact your doctor immediately if you notice signs of a blood clot, such as painful swelling in your legs, sudden chest pain, or difficulty breathing.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category D
