How to Use

- •Swelling under the skin (e.g., face, around eyes, eyelids, throat).
- •Yellowing of the skin and/or eyes (signs of jaundice).
- •Reddish or purple skin spots, itching, burning sensation (signs of inflamed blood vessels).
- •Seizures
- •Difficulty breathing or swallowing, rash, itching, hives, cough, wheezing, fainting, dizziness, changes in consciousness, low blood pressure with generalized itching, skin redness, swelling of face/throat, blue discoloration of lips, tongue or skin (signs of a severe allergic reaction).
Important Warnings
- Do not take Famvir if you are allergic to famciclovir, penciclovir, or any other ingredients in this medicine.
- Tell your doctor if you have kidney problems, as your dose may need to be adjusted.
- Inform your doctor if you have a weakened immune system or liver problems.
- If you have genital herpes, always use condoms and practice safe sex to prevent spreading the infection. Avoid sex if you have sores or blisters.
- Famvir may cause dizziness, drowsiness, or confusion. Do not drive or operate machinery if you experience these symptoms.
