Ezetimibe ratiopharm is a medicine used to help lower high cholesterol levels in your blood.
The usual dose is one 10 mg tablet once a day.
Take the tablet by mouth at any time of day, with or without food. If you take it with a statin, you can take both medicines at the same time. If you take it with a bile acid sequestrant (like cholestyramine), take Ezetimibe ratiopharm at least 2 hours before or 4 hours after the sequestrant.
The maximum daily dose is one 10 mg tablet.
Suitable for older adults. The effectiveness of the drug alone without statin is modest. (updated 15.5.2023)
