How to Use
Dosage
The usual dose is one Ezetimib Medical Valley 10 mg tablet by mouth once a day.
Method
You can take your medicine at any time of day, with or without food.
Important
Do not take more than one Ezetimib Medical Valley 10 mg tablet per day.
Possible Side Effects
COMMON
- •Abdominal pain, diarrhea, gas, and feeling tired.
- •Headache, muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness.
- •Increased levels of liver enzymes in blood tests.
RARE
- •Increased levels of muscle enzymes in blood tests.
- •Cough, indigestion, heartburn, or nausea.
- •Joint pain, muscle cramps, or neck pain.
- •Decreased appetite, general pain, or chest pain.
- •Hot flashes or high blood pressure.
- •Tingling sensation, dry mouth, itching, rash, or hives.
- •Back pain, muscle weakness, pain in arms and legs, unusual tiredness, or swelling (especially in hands and feet).
- •Dizziness or liver problems.
- •Allergic skin reactions, including raised red, target-like rashes (erythema multiforme).
- •Muscle breakdown (which can be serious).
- •Gallstones, gallbladder inflammation, or pancreas inflammation (can cause severe stomach pain, nausea, vomiting).
- •Constipation.
- •Decreased blood platelets, which can cause bruising or bleeding.
- •Depression or shortness of breath.
Important Warnings
- Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to ezetimibe or any other ingredients in the tablet.
- Do not use this medicine with a statin if you have liver disease.
- Do not use this medicine with a statin if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
- This medicine is not recommended if you have moderate to severe liver disease.
- Do not give this medicine to children under 6 years old. For children aged 6-17, it should only be given if prescribed by a specialist.

- Contact your doctor right away if you have unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness.
- Seek immediate medical help if you experience swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, which may cause difficulty breathing or swallowing.
