How to Use

Dosage

One Ezetimib Krka 10 mg tablet.

Method

Take one tablet by mouth once a day, with or without food. If taking with a statin, you can take both at the same time. If taking with a bile acid binding medicine (like cholestyramine), take Ezetimib Krka at least 2 hours before or 4 hours after it.

Important

Do not take more than one 10 mg tablet per day.

  • Swelling, especially in hands and feet

Important Warnings

  • Do not use Ezetimib Krka if you are allergic to ezetimibe or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • If you have liver problems, especially moderate to severe ones, tell your doctor. Your doctor may check your liver function with blood tests.
  • Do not take Ezetimib Krka with a statin if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or breastfeeding. If you become pregnant, stop both medicines and contact your doctor.
  • Call your doctor right away if you have new or unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness. These can be signs of serious muscle problems.
  • Get immediate medical help if you have signs of a serious allergic reaction, such as swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, or trouble breathing or swallowing.

  • Do not give this medicine to children under 6 years. For children aged 6-17, it should only be given if prescribed by a specialist.
