COMMON

  • Swelling of legs or feet due to fluid retention

  • High blood pressure
  • Heartburn, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea

RARE
  • Severe allergic reaction with swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, making it hard to breathe or swallow.
  • Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), which can be a sign of liver problems.
  • Severe stomach pain or black stools, which can be a sign of stomach bleeding.
  • Confusion or restlessness.
  • Heart attack or stroke symptoms like chest pain, sudden weakness on one side of the body, or difficulty speaking.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you have an active stomach ulcer or bleeding in your stomach or intestines.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category C

Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. For short-term use only. Consider adverse renal effect in chronic kidney disease. Do not use in severe renal impairment. May increase swelling, worsen renal and cardiac failure and cause cardiovascular events. Risk of gastrointestinal bleeding less than with traditional NSAIDs.
